My town suffered a loss that will likely be one for the history books. A lightning strike started a wildfire that ultimately killed 19 firefighters, almost the whole crew of our local Granite Mountain Hotshots, only one survived. These were young men in the community with families, children, and even weddings to plan and first babies to welcome.
As the community has rallied to support the people these men left behind, I wanted to look farther than the borders of the communities these men fought to protect, and gather support from people in other states and beyond. I ask all of you to help support these families, as I know each of us would be grateful for the support if we were in their position.
Myself and photographers from around North America have generously donated their work to be sold as prints; please purchase one of these beautiful prints and you'll be supporting these men and their loved ones. All proceeds will be donated to the Prescott Firefighter Charities, which states that all donations will go to the families of the Granite Mountain Hotshots.
It's not everyday that you have the opportunity to hang one of these amazing artist's photos on your wall. Choose from different finishes and print sizes, as well as ready to hang Thin Wraps (http://www.smugmug.com/prints/thinwraps), and Metalprints (http://www.smugmug.com/prints/metalprints) made from aluminum.
