2014 BY THE HOUR
2014 began with a new project involving over 30 other photographers scattered throughout the world, each taking a photo during a specific hour progressing through the year, month by month, from 7:00AM to 6:00PM.
Looking back, some hours were more challenging than others to capture... probably because I prefer the more spontaneous approach to capturing my hours. I'm not one to plan and control every detail, but some days are better than others for photos. These feel very honest, very in the moment of that hour, and very much me.
I am one lucky girl to be a part of THE HOURS community and "working" alongside so many talented photographers. The best part is that I get to do it again next year! I'm looking forward to starting again at 7AM in January. Maybe a theme for next year? Black and white? All portraits? Landscapes? No theme? I'm still deciding. Obviously. :)
